Not really one for set menus at lunchtime but this was really good. Great variety. The food was tasteful and presented well. It's called the express set menu and it's definitely that. The sticky toffee pudding was superb. I left feeling full but not too overly done for lunch time. Felt it was good value for money. The staff were... More

I would not say this is special place. It's good, stuff is nice. The thing I did not like is price for starters compare with amount of it on a plate. A bit pricy I would say. The other thing is about how they clean our table while we went out for a bit. We left or our things as... More

Walked up to Seven Dials area of Brighton just up from the station, which is almost like a small village with a variety of independent shops, restaurants & pubs. it's a popular student location, but also an affluent area, so there is an eclectic mix of customers in most places. This pub changes personality throughout the day - it caters... More

My pint of IPA from I'm sure a very fancy brewery cost £5.50. I guess a place like this lives and dies on whether of not people are willing an able to pay that sort of money. I was only staying for one so I sucked it up, but based on those prices alone I would never make this a... More

We were due to eat elsewhere but a mix up with booking so ended up here. Initially disappointed as planning on a Thai curry but we had delicious burgers here and the house red was easy drinking! Most of clientele were in their 20s and early 30s so we were the oldies. Sunday night is 2 4 1 burger night... More

....I can't believe it! This was the worst fish and chips I've tasted in a long while. The batter resembled a clam shell and once inside it was clear that the fish was far from fresh. It was sent back and exchanged for a cheese and ham sandwich which I asked for which was unremarkable but better. Though there was... More

Went here on Sunday and was excited to find out it was 2 for 1 burgers. Half way into my burger I found a long and dark hair in my burger, after this I naturally stopped eating it. We never received a check back. When they cleared our food I told the waitress who said 'I'm sorry' and that was... More

Come on indigo this should be better how can you charge these prices for what is a freehouse deal. Five to six pounds a pint plus served by on at least one occasion a female member of staff who looked like she would rather be at home. Could do and should be better.
