Good for informal dinners with friends. Don't expect fancy dishes. The place and the food is a bit basic in quality and presentation. But prices and quantity are OK for a seated restaurant. If you're just interested in trying fish and chips perhaps any of the dozens fast-food shops in Brighton would make the same job.

It was my birthday and we went to Brighton for the afternoon; I had been to Harry Ramsden's a couple of times in Blackpool when I was a kid and loved it so much, it had this unforgettable taste. When I saw there was one in Brighton I needed to go and get some Fish & Chips! I wish I... More

Myself and my partner had a lovely time at Harry Ramsden's on Saturday evening. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and was wonderful eating cod and chips whilst over looking the Brighton pier. Our server Luke was extremely helpful and polite and full of local knowledge whilst advising us on our stay in Brighton. Will definitely come again on our next trip.

Fish and chips at Brighton seemed like a must, so we decided to stop at Harry Ramsden's. Although the dining room was busy and location was great, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. Our fish and chips were very average, and also quite expensive for what we got. Had it not been a rainy day, we would have chosen... More

I've been here quite a few times and had fish and chips which is normally excellent. I recommend it. However this time we had a sharing platter which was one of the greasiest meals I've had in a while. The Batter was thick, and in the case of the battered cheese, mostly batter. Stick to the fish and chips!

Following a recommendation we tried this legendary eatery and were not disappointed! There was a great menu and I was sorry not to be able to try more of them but I will return

Visited at around 5pm on 15th of may. Seated quickly and orders taken soon after, just after ordering the battered sausages with chips and curry sauce for each of us the waiter came back and asked if we wanted the sausages battered... Yes we ordered battered sausages so would be great if they came that way. After a short wait... More

On Saturday, a group of five friends bought fish and chips to take away and sit on the beach. We found the fish to be quite small and slightly overcooked. As another reviewer has mentioned, there were few chips. Considering the box it came in (which became soggy and weak quickly) was rather large, I would have expected more chips.... More

Harry Ramsden's serve the same great quality fish and chips today that they have been since 1928. The brand was established 80 years ago, when Harry Ramsden opened his first takeaway store in a hut in Guiseley. His top quality fish and chips brought people from near and far and it wasn't long before Harry's became the most famous fish and chip shop brand in the world. The fish is freshly prepared in Harry's kitchens daily and has that distinctive flavour revered the world over. The menu includes the world famous battered fish with its closely guarded secret recipe, as well as an extensive choice of mouth-watering options and a fantastic children's menu, to satify all the family. We also serve a great grilled fish platter to share. Harry Ramsden's Brighton is opposite the pier and open every day except Christmas Day.
