Ordered a delivery and ended up waiting over 2 hours for my meal and having a hard time chasing the restaurant on the phone. I did demand a discount and to their credit they gave me 30% off the bill. Unfortunately the food itself was poor, not to mention cold. The portions of the som tum and the pepper squid... More

I love thai food and this place hasn't disappointed me at all. The food was great and the staff was very kind. They provided us good service and lots of prawns crackers with chilli sauce! The place has had better times i have to say but that was quickly forgot when the food arrived. We were 4 people eating and... More

We got 5 different dishes including 2 different soups and it all tasted almost the same. One of the dishes came with a bag o buttered vegetables that were just dropping in fat :( it went straight to the bin. It is hard to believe that a restaurant can make Thai food so unhealthy. Won't be going back.

I had some vegetarian tempura that was delicious paired with the chilli sauce. I tried the vegetarian pad Thai and it was pretty good although a little bit sour for my taste buds. Will visit again

Well the best thing about my experience of Muang Thai was the beautifully carved tables. Service was slow, food awful and it was a quiet mid week evening we went, so being busy wasn't an excuse. There are much better Thai's in Brighton and even just along St James St.

Having eaten here several times I can recommend the food even if the service is sometimes a little sketchy. I would advise you to check your bill as items appear which were never ordered and service charged included but they don't tell you this! We once ordered delivery which took several hours and we were not told the exact details... More

Being vegan and gluten free its sometimes slightly more difficult to find restaurants that meet my requirements - but this certainly does; it's ok for my partner as she likes fish.... We have eaten here before and wanted to come back as it's also near where we stay on our visits to Brighton. There are plenty of dishes for me... More

This is a really basic cheap cafe level interior but what it lacks aesthetically it more than makes up with excellent tasting food. We have eaten here several times and really like the food. We will be back again. The upstairs part of the restaurant is always too hot in summer.

This restaurant was an easy walk from where we were staying, the food was delicious and promptly served. I had Beef and ginger with coconut rice, hubby had pork in oyster sauce with steamed rice. The service was great, I even set the menu on fire accidently with the candle on the table, all in all a pleasant experience.
