The centre of town was heaving so we drove a short distance and spotted The Mouse Trap. It looked well kept with nice flower boxes outside and there was free parking for patrons. We were only looking for something light and spotted Crayfish salad on the board for £5.50. It was perfect. Came with a nice mixed salad and three... More

Had a fan 2 nights at The Mousetrap. Booked into the restaurant for 1st night and we were all pleasantly surprised. A lot more than pub grub. The owner and his wife were both really helpful and a proper breakfast completed our experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights. Our room was fine if somewhat small. The breakfasts were excellent. We had dinner on 1 evening and it was very good and good value.

The Mousetrap was about four doors from The Lansdowne where we stayed. We ate there on our second night and both of us were delighted with the meals. The pan fried chicken in a source was chosen by my wife and I had the crayfish tails followed by the steak pie. All of these dishes were of first class quality... More

Went in on a Thursday at 1:30. Asked if we'd like to eat, I said yes. Refused to serve our family of four because they had a tour group coming in. Tables were available. We're local and it seems these owners think they can just missed treat people because of all the tourism trade they get in. Won't be back

Staying directly opposite, The Mousetrap Inn was an ideal place for us to eat and drink during our holiday at Doll's Cottage. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and they made us feel very welcome. Although the pub itself is quaint and traditional in decor, the food is out of this world. All of our meals were beautifully presented... More

Ate here one night during Cheltenham festival week. It was very busy and the staff were run off their feet but did their best and served everybody promptly. The food was very good, and reasonably priced, 2 of us had starters and mains (already bought drinks at the bar) for around £35. I would advise booking a table the day... More

What a lovely little B & B! We stayed for two days in this cozy pub/restaurant. The room was very clean and modern, all the usual facilities - flat screen TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee, complimentary toiletries etc. Very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and service was very quick and attentive even checking that we had enough to eat. We ate... More
