I used to think this place is a good one to taste home made cream teas. But today except the scone which was nice, we had clotted cream and jam you would get in cheap hotels probably bought from Cosco with max 10p each and if you order for two you get every thing on one plate: two scones, one... Good coffee and really lovely homemade cakes - is a must every time I go into Cheltenham. This time had scone with butter and jam and the scone was warm absolutely melt in the mouth

Met with a group of Jazz lovers prior to embarking on a weekend of concerts at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. It was a great start to the weekend with full English all round. For some bizarre reason three of our group (from the same family) all were tomato haters but for 3 different reasons. All were more than happy with... More

Amidst the mass of interchangeable chains, Anderson's is real treat. Nestling close to the back entrance of Cavendish House and the Regent Arcade, it's a great place to go for lunch or a drink and a snack. Between the 4 of us we sampled the nachos (amazing value for £5), sandwiches and soup - all very tasty, generous portions, served... More

Nice little independent cafe with homemade cakes and a short menu (including gluten free alternatives). Dropped in to get a cappuccino and a hot chocolate (tasted good I was told) to take away.

As I ate breakfast here last week, I realised that I have never reviewed it. I have now eaten at this delightful café at least a dozen times in the last year and have to say that every time it has been great. I have eaten breakfasts and lunches plus have popped in for coffee & cake or tea &... More

Had a lovely lunch - a platter with lovely meat, olives and bread. The place had a lovely friendly local feel. It's not corporate, just good home cooked food, and the cakes are to die for x

We found this little place and was not disappointed. The food was great and the cappuccino stayed hotter than any I have had anywhere else. I had the jacket potato with chicken and bacon covered in a blue cheese sauce and it was excellent.

Have been to Andersons several times and they have always delivered lovely food. Their cake selection yesterday was superb and I had trouble choosing. I had Salted Caramel which was moist, large in portion and simply divine. My husband had his usual Eggs Benedict, with home cut ham and two eggs, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The service is always good... More

There is a balance in business, as in life: you choose what you want to spend your money and resources on, you decide where you pay more and where you invest less. When you enter Andersons you can tell they haven't majored on spending on the decor. It's not a contemporary space, it's certainly not plush, feels very basic, simple... More
