This is our local Thai and it is a good one. All the food is well cooked and the spices perfect. Sticky rice is very sticky!

Always fantastic. Fresh, authentic, professional. Phone system for takeaway not always great ...probably because they are so busy.

Excellent food and traditional wooded North Thailand furniture. The service is fantastic. I do recommend that the food be ordered family style with sharing, which offers the patron a wider selection. The prices are on the higher side but given the quality, I would say it's great value for money. Bookings not necessary on weekdays.

One dish was tasty but the beef salad was disappointing - the beef was very fatty and stringy. The restaurant itself was busy and rather cramped - fitting everything on the table wasn't easy!

The surroundings are fantastic. The menu is at best tired. Even the classics (thai basil chicken ) is pretty uninspiring. This place has the opportunity to treat the well travelled customers and those that want to go to this stunning country as a reminder or a reason to go. But no, let's be mediocre and charge expensive prices for average... More

First time at the Thai Emerald and we were not disappointed. Went in for a lunch. Simple Phad Thai and Massamam Lamb Shank. Loved it and will be back asap and try the take away.

My mother and I popped in hoping to have a meal. It was a Thursday evening at 6pm. We were told we could just about be squeezed in, as they were expecting a party. We were served very quickly. The food was delicious. My mum ordered a prawn dish, I had the monkfish red curry. The décor is lovely, and... More

We came here on a Saturday evening and it was busy! Luckily we got a table for two downstairs and had a very nice meal. The decor is typically Thai, even upstairs which is not always the case in the UK. We had the mixed starters which were good with one of the banquets for two. Lots of food and... More

Arrived after day out visiting the lovely town of cirencester. Resteraunt really busy , good sign which proved to be correct. Asked to wait few minutes and provided lovely table. Food order taken quickly and then enjoyed a very very tasty and authentic meal served by polite and smiling staff. Would definitely recommend this cracking thai.

The food arrived within five mins of ordering which is not ideal, as we questioned how fresh it is. The waiters couldn't care less, we were in and out in half an hour and they charge for every tiny thing, even a new tiny pot of sauce! Despite this it's a cool place with good food !
