We were walking the Cotswold Way and being on the Hight Street in Winchcombe this is actually on the route so a perfect location. It is marketed as a restaurant with rooms and the food was superb. Rooms were very clean and comfortable however some can be noisy if they are over the bar or main street and some have... More

We had a party of 9 here for afternoon tea. The guy in charge was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had endless tea and soft drinks for the children. The sandwiches were lovely with a nice variety including smoked salmon and brie and cranberry. The scones were delicious and warm from the oven. Lovely fruity jam... More

Three of us booked in for lunch 12.45pm on a Thursday. We were the only people there when we arrived, whereupon the waiter switched the lights on as we sat down. We then realised it was cooler than we would have expected (mid March but not particularly cold outside) so kept our coats on, hoping it would warm up. But... More

They cater extremely well for thos requiring a... More

Had an excellent meal in a lovely setting with really good service. The only downside - the chips - they were frozen chips and it would have been nicer (especially as it is not a cheap meal) to have had some nice handcut fresh chips. Otherwise very good.
