Although Las Iguanas is a chain, the Gunwharf Quays branch stands out by miles. The restaurant is clean, welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely, always explaining bits on the menu and accommodating to dietry needs. The manager, Sam, gives outstanding service and makes the whole experience a lot more than satisfactory! I would recommend the cocktails... More

Great atmosphere - very busy, great service, fabulous food - tried something new - anything with crayfish and plantain is going to be a winner. the rack of ribs looked spectacular. Great night helped by the two for one cocktails. Highly recommended. We will be back.

This is part of a chain but this branch is much better than some of the others. For example the one in Aberdeen is useless. I was visiting Portsmouth so having lunch and then dinner with different groups. They have an excellent cocktail list . I think the menu is very good and very south american. I can not recommend more... More

Me and my partner came here for my birthday meal as a last minute decision as we hadn't booked anywhere. We expected a wait for a table but were seated straight away. We were quickly greeted by our waitress, who took our drinks ordered and helped me to decide on a cocktail. We then ordered 5 starters and some sides... More

Food here is scrummy! It also has a wide range of veggie options which is always good! Service was slow but it was a busy night. We're due to visit again this week.

Four of us arrived around 1.30pm on a Bank Holiday Monday so I appreciate it was very busy. We waited for a table which was available after around 20 minutes. Starters of quesadillas and dadinhos were quite tasty but very small. For mains, three had burrtos; basically a glorified wrap with mushy filling and a lame salad. One had chicken... More

Group of friends met to catch up - busy bustling noisy and lively restaurant on a Saturday evening. Food was at best average, one starter (nacho's) had to go back as it was cold (quickly rectified though) others looked and tasted good. Mains - enchiladas served did not look appetising, and were just about warm, others in the party did... More

Thoroughly enjoyed every bite, service was excellent and not too overbearing. Definitely recommend this place as there's so much else to do at the Quays.
