Bar woman was moaning to another staff member about something to do with a third member of the team while pouring our drinks. She was obviously in the opinion that she had been hard to. Lunch was a steak ciabatta and a chicken wrap. The steak was cooked great and looked very good but was totally tasteless. Clearly long term... More

Great bar in the city centre, near the shops and ideal meeting place. Prices are good and probably the best prosecco we have had! Staff friendly, atmosphere great! All good

Well what can be said about the experience we had in the so called cocktail bar named the slug and lettuce .The meals were very expensive and inedible and the service and customer care were a lot to be desired . You are solely paying for an up market wine bar with overpriced drinks and tasteless slop . My advise... More

We have been to this venue now about 5 times. We liked the clean airy and pleasant layout of the restaurant. The food we ordered an all occasions was good and the staff with one exception friendly and efficient. However the downside is the loud screechy pop music we had to endure on all our lunchtime visits, it appears they... More

Went here with my dad today for lunch. He loves it here and so do I. Walked straight in and got a nice spacious booth up the back. Went up to the bar to order and spoke to a lovely girl called Megan who took my order and opened a tab for us. Took two minutes to get the drinks... More

Two friends and I went for dinner and the restaurant was dead quiet (even with 50% off), after not being shown in we found a table ourselves and went to the bar for a drink where we got poor service from a rude barmaid and again poor service from a different barmaid when ordering our meals. After being told they... More

Visited for a late munch and enjoyed a very good burger and fries. Burger top notch slow cooked beef brisket in a brioche bum with perfect crisp fries. All day 2 cocktails for one deal great for an evening out iwould imagine.
