We stayed in the hotel overnight and enjoyed our breakfast in the Tavern. Full English for hubby, smashed avocado with poached eggs and grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough all washed down with lots of tea!

Enjoyed a very good dinner here, the chefs brought their 'A Game' as everything was bang on & cooked to perfection. Bravo.

The White Star has excellent quality food, the kind you'd find in a really nice restaurant. We've had dinner there a few times and have always been impressed. - excellent quality food and presentation - lovely atmosphere - reasonably well priced - very good service

Really nice birthday meal here, the duck was amazing and the service was excellent, came in had a drink and then were seated straight away. Some things were quite pricey but I'd say it is definitely worth the money.
