Drink selection was great. Went for Sunday roast (beef). Waited 45 minutes and then told that chef was new. There was mention of a delay, then would be a bit more understanding. No condiments offered. Would go for drinks but not the food.

We have been to this pub several times, it offers good value for money. You pay a reasonable price for food and the drinks are some of the cheapest in Winchester.

We were quite thirsty do popped in to quench that thirst. A nice range of beers and assorted drinks which we drank in the small back garden. Noting exceptional but a good wholesome traditional pub.
