we went for sunday carvery. We were not impressed as the beef was almost raw and not a very good selection of vegetables. Disappointing as some had travelled quite a way.More

Good basic pub food, decent selection of ales and ciders and efficient service. The beer garden could do with a facelift though.

Overall we had a nice meal here. The special duck was well cooked and the burger went down a treat. The guys that had the pie weren't happy with their food. Pretty standard pub fare in a nice environment.

We enjoyed the carvery at the Walwyn. It was well cooked and there was a good choice of vegetables. The staff were very good and attentive in spite of expecting a large party to arrive soon.

Very impressed with the premises themselves and the friendly accommodating staff but only two of the four meals could be described as excellent. My son doesn't like salad so specifically stated no salad with his burger. They dutifully omitted the salad from the plate but...More

Had an enjoyable sunday carvery here with friends and family. They were a little 'reserved' with the meat portion but the vegetables were superb - not your usual over boiled spread - but high quality options. As others have mentioned, the cheesy leeks were very...More

Visited this pub as we were staying in a B&B down the road and it was recommended. Nice atmosphere inside and the staff were friendly. They had a good range of cider from Weston's which was just down the road. We had burgers which were...More
