Côte is always a good standby. Unexciting and predictable, good value, pleasant, efficient staff. St Albans is no exception. Very convenient for the Cathedral and the beautiful town centre.

The food was basic, the service was average... the only nice thing was the desert... Really not worth your money. Sorry but I was rather disappointed!!

Friendly service, good ambiance and excellent food and wine! I regard this business as a very clever operation serving well prepared and presented food at reasonable prices.

We happened upon Cote Brasserie after our visit to St Albans Cathedral and decided to have lunch here. Great choice as service was excellent, friendly and food was tasty.

We enjoyed a really good lunch at this lovely restaurant in St Albans. The two and three course fixed price menus are excellent value for money at £11.99 and £12.99 respectively. The drinks are not too badly priced either. The service was very good and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere to the place only slightly shattered by the chef... More

The restaurant is conveniently located in the nice city of St. Albans. The restaurant is part of a chain which is inspired by the brasseries of Paris, serves French food, the location is really nice and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxed. We were a group of friends and we ordered appetizers, meat and couple of desserts. All was really good... More

I have taken breakfast here on several occasions. The full Cooked breakfast with coffeee and juice is good value. The ingredients used are good but not of the highest quality. To be fair you wouldn't expect them to be at the price charged. The service is variable. If you are hungry you can be assured that you will be well... More

We went in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and the food and service were both very good. Only thing I would say was that our fries were a little undercooked but I think that's a personal preference thing. I think it's a really good place to go for a date in the day or evening as it... More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
