Sunday lunch - Fresh food beautifully cooked and good service. Four of us went to celebrate a birthday and we couldn’t fault anything. Good choice craft beers. It was quite busy but we were shown to our table on time and we felt well looked...More

I had the set lunch and ordered pheasant. It was meant to be medium rare but came well done. The regou was unimpressive, the root vegetable was just small carrots. The Apply Woodruff cheese cake was just a creamy cheese cake. No caramelised nuts nor...More

Everything was just right...our table, the service, the wine and above all the food. I had the pumpkin wellington which was heavenly and the cauliflower cheese was simply the best I've ever had!

Really liked the woodpigeon. The nut roast seemed to need a jelly or a sauce. Pork & rabbit terrine was perfectly nice. Smoked salmon starter was good. Best of luck with this unusual venture.

My friend and I went for lunch (he had been wanting to go for ages). The starters were delicious, I had salmon and my friend had the deer spheres. But unfortunately our mains were less exciting - the wild mushroom risotto was tasty but uninspiring,...More
