The best food I have had in years, amazing Venison cooked Medium Rare, cooked to order, comes out steaming hot, accomodating and friendly staff. Good value for money and a very picturesque setting.

Went for a lunch / evening meal and wasn't disapointed. There was a few vegetarian options which were tasty. The atmosphere I'd say is the main selling point, it is a bit cramped however thats tp be expected really amd not really an issue.

Lovely venue to have a bite to eat when outside is hustle and bustle. Really good value food and tastes great. Staff friendly but service a little slow .. when getting away from everything, it’s ideal Would recommend a visit

On a busy Sunday in Canterbury staff were keen and happy to serve. Food was good, hearty and great value. Service quick and surroundings traditional and pleasing. Its location on the river also provides an excellent vantage.

The service was swift and the staff were pleasant but there wasn't very much choice for vegetarians. I opted for the vegetables in Yorkshire pudding and was surprised to see 3 Yorkshire's rather than one large one, which did not taste home made. The vegetable...More

Good location in the Canterbury's centre. The pub looks very nice indoor and outdoor and is on the river. The food was excellent! Good staff and good prices.
