Service was slow, nachos were like something thrown on a plate with half a tub of sour cream and a bit of chopped up avo! Child’s food! Meals were average, white wine was not properly chilled and asked for a replacement which was equally poor....More

Great place to eat and if you book, you will probably get a table outside. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Food excellent - went for a pie and Brie and cheese melt. Combine your meal with a punt trip - excellent value.

Stopped here for dinner having walked past multiple times on this and previous visits to Canterbury. Possibly the most photographed building in Canterbury. The restaurant has a very nice ambience. The staff were friendly and efficient and meals were great.

Located in the heart of the town the restaurant is basic but serves good pub fare, the location adjacent to the river is beautiful. Worth a visit.

We've been a few times and keep coming back for more. Love the pies and we drive all the way from London for them. The lamb and rosemary, steak and kidney, chicken and bacon are all amazing. Highly recommended!
