We went last night for Steak Night. My Wife and I both had Rib Eye with all the trimmings for under £19. The Malbec was great too. Really enjoyed the night and will be going again

The Friday night steak deal is amazing. Such good value for ribeye or sirloin with all the trimmings for £18.95 for 2 people. We had one of each and the meat was cooked perfectly medium rare on request and really succulent. Cosy pub, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back with the kids for more. Thanks guys!

Recently stayed in the area with family and this place came highly recommended. We weren't at all disappointed. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you and the fresh, home cooked food was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area. Thanks to all at the Churchill Tavern.

Popped in to Churchill’s for lunch last week. Food was great and the service was very friendly. March weather outside was cold, but once inside the pub- met with roaring log fires. Just perfect. Would definitely recommend the place.

Recently in town for business. The staff made this yank feel right at home. The classic British fare was fantastic. Mushy peas were great. Fantastic selection of ales. I liked it so much I came back for dinner the second night. Cant say enough good things about the place. Strongly recommend.

This was the worse sunday lunch I have had in my life. I simply could not eat the meat - pork. The vegetables were plenty for sure but totally without character.

We were made very welcome throughout. Despite being busy, the staff gave very good service. The Churchill Silver ale was in good condition. We had king prawns with white-wine cream sauce, which were very tasty, with bread. Main courses were absolutely magnificent, duck-breast and fresh baked cod with a full selection of fresh vegetables. Desert was chocolate cheesecake, again great... More

Zero greet/welcome, sad disinterested staff, several in attendance all glum... badly kept beers, worst pub visit for ages and we are pub visitors, beer/ale drinkers. Nowt else to say just pass this one by... if you weren't depressed on entry you are likely to be on exit.

Thank Lili S
