This was my family's fourth visit over a couple of years. They certainly haven't us down yet. Yes, a slightly limited menu, but one perfect for lovers of fish, it is augmented by fabulous specials of the day and on Sunday's a selection of traditional meat roasts. (BTW Sunday's often have live relaxed piano accompaniment too). Yesterday's, oysters, calamari and... More

After a blustery walk out alongside the harbour wall , we were delighted to find ourselves in the warm and cheerful ambience of the Royal Harbour brasserie . Service was friendly and efficient , with a good selection of seafood dishes , as well as adequate choice of meats , and very reasonably priced wines . An enjoyable evening!

Group of six friends, three courses and drinks. £30 a head. Service excellent. Mine, scallops with chorizo, with the coral included on the scallops....absolutely made my night. Cod fillet in seafood and saffron sauce, so delicious I mopped the plate with the bread. Chocolate fondant with beautiful ice cream. Husband had moules starter, size impressive. Others had a Fish and... More

This place has a great setting on one arm of the harbour wall. We went because they let dogs in, and were warmly welcomed at lunchtime. The former nautical building does need a bit of updating, and being so coastal is bound to take a pounding. The staff were keen to get our order, and we had a mixture of... More

Was here as a group of four on Saturday, Beavertown beer, Fish and Chips, Jerk Chicken, Peanut Butter Cheesecake - great views and good value, we will be back. It's well worth the walk along the pier, waves crashing all around.

Food absolutely disgusting with service to match. Do not waste your time. Food very expensive and not worth the visit. Very dated and tatty inside

In the area with family including a 4 month old baby. Great high chair facilities with proper mama's and papa's chairs. The location of this place is unique and the views whether it be in sunshine or storm is interesting and has a great view of the harbour. They do special deal with dinner and pudding for £10. They also... More

We had Sunday lunch here and it was very disorganised and no communication amongst staff. Roast beef was ok and the desserts were over priced and inedible. The view was the only thing worth going for so next time we'll take fish and chips and stay on the pier!

Bad food and awful service. Not going back. The decor needs attention and the ladies toilets are best not visited unless you are going to give them a coat of paint and add heating.

We re-visited the Royal Harbour Brasserie for lunch one day this week, we were shown to a table and given menu's and left to enjoy the beautiful views. Only to find we were still waiting for someone to stop by our table after a good 35 minutes! There was only one person looking after the whole restaurant and they were... More
