Second visit to Castle bar and once again the food was excellent. Staff were very attentive and courteous. The dining room setting along with relaxed bar atmosphere downstairs provides the best of both worlds. Will definitely return.

Hoped for more reading the reviews but this pub was a bit dated inside. The food was barely average and not the cheapest tbh. Also the toilets were stinking. I won't be back.

On the face of it, and when you go inside, this looks like an old pub, however, through the back and upstairs, there is a big restaurant which serves delicious food and has a friendly staff.

Don't be put off by the bar downstairs, the restaurant is upstairs and has very good decor with exposed old brick etc. The menu was reasonably standard, however had a number of extras and everything was well cooked.

Thank you for your question, yes we are dog friendly in the bar downstairs, but not upstairs in the restaurant areas. It is the same menu throughout just in case you were wanting to eat.
