Bought cheese and chutney sandwiches and drinks. All very nice and fresh. Other food looked delicious and all freshly prepared. Friendly people too.

Stopped off on recommendation from a friend. Purchased Coffees (Red Bank Bean) and not a bad coffee but nothing big to shout about. Sausage Rolls however are another story. Freshly made on site and we were lucky to get fresh out of the oven still warm - They are the best ever tasted sausage rolls. Worth a visit.

We stopped off at Lucia's to pick up some sandwiches and cake for our walk in the fells. The chap was very friendly, interested in where we were going, etc. We picked up a couple of coffees as well - and discovered to our delight that we didn't have to carry the empties around as there is a bin right... The best place in Grasmere to get coffee and pastries, the smell when they come out the oven is unreal. Also good to see the lovely Marlien back working behind the counter, service with a smile :)

Still the best coffee and pastries, savoury and sweet, in Grasmere, take away only but you can sit and eat opposite on the wall bounding the Green

Not sure what all the fuss is about, had two very ordinary bread rolls made up. No salad offered. Like I say okay but nothing special

Popped on for a coffee to warm up from the snow. Well priced and well made. Lots of flavour, a proper coffee, not like the huge buckets of rubbish you get in the big chains.

Always worth the ride out for and if you a running late a quick text to Lucia and she will save your order for you. . Fantastic home made sausage rolls, especially the one with the hint of honey and mustard.

this is a great little takeway in the centre of Grasmere. Very small in size but big in what is on offer, either hot or cold. very friendly but no seating. there is plenty of outdoor seating opposite the cafe or in the nearby park

We are a family run bakery/takeaway serving quality, locally roasted coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as refreshing cold drinks. We make ourselves fresh daily: Cumberland sausage rolls with local butchers meat, vegetarian pasties such as spinach and goat's cheese, sweet pepper and onion and cheese and onion. We also prepare a small selection of sandwiches every morning as well as many delicious traybakes and sweet pastries.
