We arrived and asked for some menus but we're told that last orders were at half 8. Absolute nightmare. It was our last night in Cumbria and there was 6 of us ready to spend... More

Stop here regularly when visiting parents in the lakes, Can't fault it, me Dad likes the Beer and Fish & Chips, I like the Farmers Platter and me Mum Scampi. Immaculately clean and tidy.

As regular visitors to the Lake District we call into the Punch Bowl every now and again. The place is always immaculately clean, tidy and so welcoming that I tend to feel rather special when we call in. Lilie Rose & Ben are always made to feel very welcome. Wheelchair access not being an issue at all due to the... More

Driven past many times, decided on a very wet March lunchtime to call in. Partner had Gammon with chunky chips and fried egg, while I settled for haddock and chips with mushy peas. Food was very good as was the local brewed ale, Nd the staff very pleasant, chatty and easy to get on with. Cloak rooms very clean as... More

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu is typical of a good pub. I found the food of very good quality and plenty of it too. Popular with locals and a good place to stop off after visiting Kendal.

We found this restaurant by accident, what a place to find, the food was beautiful and the service to match, they do a burger challenge also a chicken one to which you have to book in advance, they sold and produce a Kendal mint cake vodka which is really nice, a must visit to try

Stopped at the Punch Bowl on a trip to Kendal in February and the attention to detail was fantastic, catering to everyones needs. It was very impressive. Even board games in the bar, ideal when it gets a bit rainy in the Lakes!
