Food was lovely, very young girls serving on,we had to ask twice for things love sauces,... More

A guest's review at the cottage said it was good. The fish and chips were good, but the wait was much too long - we waited nearly an hour.

As we only live 10 miles from the Station Inn, and usually pass its doors on our return home from Kendal, it is a very convenient place to call off for an occasional meal or a drink. Much preferable than trying to find somewhere to park in Kendal, as it has a large car park, as well as a good... More

The food was really great, cooked to perfection. Unfortunately this was let down by the terrible service who needed chasing for everything (and it was a quiet night!) The final shock was the bill... The food was nice but not worth the prices.

We regularly go out for the day since retiring and although this is not accessible without a car, lovely food, excellent beer and good service, a bit pricey and not loads of choice but well worth a visit.

The Station Inn is a decent pub but it is first and foremost an eatery. It offers an extensive menu ranging from sandwiches and paninis to steaks and other main courses. It serves good, honest pub grub, such as fish and chips and steak and kidney pud, all at very reasonable prices. And the helpings are not small, although they... More

We went to the Station Inn a Sunday evening with our extended family. The pub was full with families and children. Food wise it was only OK, but it's a good place to meet with friends and family.

Just had nice family day out here. Really big adventure play area outside in the beer garden for the kids with a bouncy castle and mini golf. Really clean, and well looked after with plenty of parking. The food menu is really good. Normal portion and small portion sizes available. Kids menu was also good. Lovely day and a great... More
