We make a habit of stopping off here either in the afternoon for a relaxing cup of tea or a bowl of soup or broth after a walk if we are back early enough - always good simple food served with efficiency and a smile.

We love to come here with our family whenever we're in Keswick. The food is always high quality, the service friendly, and the cake moist. The kids can also play in the play area below and the adults can take it in turns to browse George Fishers. What's not to like?

Had a late lunch here one day, after a long walk. The portions are very generous and we could have shared one plate. Service was quick and very friendly. It is at the top of one of the best outdoor shops in Keswick.

Having read other reviews on Tripadvisor we had lunch in Abrahams Café on a particularly wet Wednesday! It did not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent locally sourced food. We will be back!

lovely views, lovely service, friendly staff. Smashing cup of tea, cake and tea cakes. Table was sticky, shame there are so many stairs to climb to get to it.

Thanks for your review Lesley! With the view we have we need to be at the top of the shop :-) Unfortunately that does mean a few stairs. Sorry about the sticky table, I'll pass that on. Victoria More

Lovely home made cakes and a great cup of coffee for a mid-morning break caps off a morning shopping for souvenirs in Keswick. Don't know why all the mountain equipment shops don't have their own café......

Lovely wee cafe inside George Fisher shop. The carrot cake was the best I've ever tasted. There were soups, sandwiches cakes etc, all home made. I enjoyed so much I bought the recipe book.

You wouldn't expect an in-store cafe to be anything special, so I was very surprised by this place. There is a great deal of choice on the menu, plus more on the specials board. I had the grilled goats cheese which ended up being the nicest meal I ate all week, and we only went in for a quick lunch!... More

We have eaten here previously and found it excellent, and yesterday was no different! The setting is good, with great views of the fells from the windows, the staff are some of the most friendly and obliging that I have ever met, and the food is excellent. The portions are generous too - as you would hope if you've spent... More
