We all had different meals. Everyone thought they were fine, not exceptional but decent enough. I would say somewhere between an average and a very good.

Lovely pub in the South Shore area of the town. Lovely selection of Real Ales (the reason why i go in.) Good menu at a reasonable price. The place does not attract the riff raff (unlike next door, yes, literally next door!) of the area. Good knowledgeable staff as well. Always friendly and helpful.

Heard rumours that this had been taken over and they where correct. Same sort of style as previous owners but with a slightly different menu. Prices a touch dearer than spoons but nothing to worry about. Full bar with cask ales and helpful staff that seem to know what they are doing. Toilets are much better than the last ones.... More

We have had many a meal in the Auctioneer, without any proplems with the food or drink that is until now. We arrived for a family celibration meal with 10 people in our party, under the impression it still was run by Weatherspoons. I ordered the "ultimate barbecue burger" which was very substandard, infact the beef burger was of very... More
