Probably one of if not the best place to go for dim sum in Liverpool. The food is consistently high quality, fresh and well made. Non-dim sum dishes are decent but do not particularly stand out.

We were really in the mood for dim sum and having walked through a completely deserted China Town at lunch time (we were told that China Town in Liverpool only opens at night?) we ended up at Mei Mei. It had a fairly extensive dim sum menu but as were only two, we opted for their recommended dim sums for... More

We had banquet for 2 higher priced one, food was gorgeous. Can't see why this isn't placed at number 1 when I searched for Chinese sit downs... More

A lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. Really good after a long day to unwind here. There is an excellent and varied menu with good service from the staff here.

Went on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist. We had the £18.90 set menu for 2 - soup was chicken and sweet corn pretty tasteless and mixed starter was average with a pretty chewy rib to gnaw on. Mains was ok but not worth the Jessie Jay Price Tag - walk down the road and get the wok and go... More

Me and my friends visited this restaurant during Chinese New Year. We were waiting for at least an hour for the table, and when we get to the table, they were too understaffed, no one even serve the drinks. We ordered few dim sums and half Cantonese roast duck, the duck was too fatty and hardly any meats on it.... More

The staff were fairly friendly but we felt rushed even though it wasn't that busy when we came. Food was okay, nothing special like any average Chinese restaurant. Food wasn't really worth it as I didn't feel full based on the price I paid.

Have been to this restaurant many times in the evening, and found the food to be excellent. But went about a week ago for a lunchtime meal with my partner, and the food was dreadful. It was as if it was a warm up from the previous night. You always remember your last meal !!!

The amount of Chinese diners tells you that the food here is great. Service can be hit & miss, but the food is always excellent. Don't miss the Chow Mein with crispy noodles or the fabulous range of Dim Sum.
