Visited for the first time with friends. Very interesting architecture, friendly staff, good beer but the food let it down. Quality of food was poor and unappetising. Shame as the building is worth visiting if you are in the city.

We were in Liverpool for a short break and to go to a concert at the Philharmonic Hall and had a pre-concert meal at these dining rooms. It is a fascinating place, a beautiful old building full of character and has a warm welcoming atmosphere....More
What can I say. We didn't eat as the place was packed. Found a seat in the main hall. I'm a plasterer (name gives it away lol ) and OMG.its just amazing. Loved the ceilings, loved the tiling. And, gents when you go the loo....More

We booked a table for a works party here a month ago. We booked for 7pm. On arrival the whole place was totally full and after being taken up to the dining room we were promptly marched back downstairs to a table in a room...More

This is an unbelievable pub, a real treat. Lots of choice and lots of atmosphere. We had booked for a meal in the upstairs restaurant before a concert at the Philharmonic Hall across the road. The restaurant has a good menu and was o.k. food...More

This is one of the finest pub interiors I've ever seen with well preserved Victorian and Edwardian fittings.
Hello, thank you so much for your high rating!
The pub itself is gorgeous and full of character. I loved the old and traditional feel it had but just the most wonderful features. We went to the restaurant to eat and got a large table. We found the service to be a little slow...More

Found this place from a guide as one of the places to see in Liverpool. The Edwardian interior is wonderful, if a little grubby. Certainly the most exuberant of its type Ive seen. Having said that the pie and pint were pretty average. Not bad....More

The Philharmonic Dining Rooms are a must see site in Liverpool. The opulence of this building, particularly the interior is hard to credit given it is merely a pub. The highest quality materials and workmanship are on show throughout. Highly favoured by John Lennon whilst...More
