If your going RESERVE A TABLE. We waited over an hour to seat four but I was so excited I didn't care and i should have made a reservation so my bad. The bar is very very small and you are going to have to talk above drunk, loud patrons. Waiters are trying to do their best but are harried.... More

Cozy, quaint bar to enjoy martinis and having them prepared table-side is a great experience. The staff is very friendly and offers excellent service. This is a "must" for all Bond fans! It's fairly small but this adds to the ambiance. The French 75 and Vesper were delicious. There was a nice mixture of locals and tourists. Be sure to... More

We had a lovely time drinking in the ambiance where Ian Fleming apparently developed Bond's cocktail. I recommend it - it's quite small, service is great, very atmospheric.

I regularly stay at Duke's on business and absolutely love this bar. The preparation of the cocktails from the trolly at your table is an experience in itself (Dry Martini to perfection!). It's cosy & intimate with excellent service.

Would you like to feel like Ms. Money penny or James Bond? Shaken not stirred? Beautiful environment with exquisite cocktails. Your drink is made to order from a bar cart that comes to your seat. Everything about this experience was fantastic!

Great place to meet friends for a drink before the theatre or dinner. Martinis made tableside. Expensive but you are also paying for the one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Old London. Crowded, so arrive early.

I don't really recall the quality of the cocktails. I just recall how unpleasant and sneering the staff and regulars were. Fancy a cocktail? The Lanesborough is up the road. Failing that, hop over to Dandelyan.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
