Five of us for Sunday brunch. Staff very welcoming, eclectic mix of customers. Wide breakfast offering but the English breakfasts were hit and miss - decent bacon and sausages let down by watery beans and cheap, catering ketchup. American breakfasts (French toast, pancakes) much lauded by the teenagers.

Great atmosphere, always busy, friendly staff and hugest breakfast menu (served all day) and very good value. Love it!

I had left a meeting and needed a coffee and a snack. I try to avoid the usual chains whenever I can so this place took my eye. I was made to feel welcome straight away and shown to a seat. No pressure to order quickly, everything at my pace. I ordered an Americano which was excellent - one of... More

Not knowing the area, we came across this place by chance and decided to give it a go. Really glad we did - it was great value and the menu was so extensive as to be slightly overwhelming! Service was welcoming and quick. Worth a visit if you're looking for a cheap lunch around Battersea.

I've been here so many times I can't even count. It's a favourite of many that work in the area. The couple that run the place always have a smile on their face, and always very welcoming. Service is fast and efficient. Food is really good (bar the mushroom soup that sometimes makes an appearance on the specials menu!) and... More

I have no idea why this eaterie is described as Italian because there is nothing remotely Mediterranean about the place. This is not healthy eating with tapenade, olive oil and focaccia. This is good traditionally English fry up fayre and just what you want to enjoy the morning after a heavy night out. You can easily imagine that BG is... More

Early start travelling into the city. Arrived hungry looking for something to eat. Stumbled on this cafe and was really pleased. Good service, food and value for money. Highly recommended.

This is a proper old-style diner that doesn't make the mistake of pretending to be folksy or flash American. The fry-ups are great: generous portions, well-cooked and served speedily. There is an amazing range of dishes from which to choose. For example they serve at least 10 different breakfasts. There is also huge variety of healthy options on offer and... More
