This had been talked up a lot, so when we visited on Monday 16th October, my expectations were quite high. Service was pleasant, the food, Murgh Tikka Masala was lovely, lamb Pasanda was ok and the peshwari naan was poor! All in all our local...More

From the outside, you would hardly notice this "Hidden Gem" and if you are someone who judges "A Book by its Cover", rather than what is inside, then undoubtedly Kahn's of Kensington is NOT the place for you, perhaps a flashy burger bar would be...More

I wondered the streets after exploring a few museums. What a gem I found. Knowing that the Indian Holiday was a week away I opened the doors and was welcomed to the best hospitality I have received in U.K. My seat was placed next to...More

The only time I had better indian food, was in India. Then again, it is said that British indian food is its own cuisine. Regardless, this is british indian at its best. From beginning to end, all dishes were phenomenal. Fantastic layers of flavour throughout...More

Typical delicious indian dishes in centre of London. I recommend to go for the meal for 2, mix of naan, tandoori chicken, lamb, and other specific indian dishes. Don't forget the cobra to spice up your dinner. We had a great moment. See y'a soon.

After reading several reviews of Indian restaurants in the Kensington area we choose Khan as the one more inspiring us. We are not experts in indian food but, thank to the clear menu, we success to choose tasty plates, not exagerately spicy 😈. The service...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Description
"Khan's of Kensington has developed a core of devotees over the years, from household names to lesser mortals, who delight in its slightly modern take on North Indian cuisine. The colonial ambience is very relaxed, pleasant, and its bijou dining room has an intimate feel. Some favourites -- among many -- are the fish Coliwada, which is fried marinated pomfret fish from Bombay, and the Officer's Chop of lamb in honey sauce. The tandooris and baltis are very popular, and if by chance you don't find your favourite on the menu, the kitchen are happy to set that right, too. Lounge bar on the lower level, charming atmosphere throughout. "
