The ambiance was cozy, warm, and talkable. The service was friendly, efficient, and honest. The filet I had, cooked charred rare to perfection, was excellent as was the mustard served with it. The Malbec was worth revisiting, and fit the cuisine as it should. Don't...More

This basement restaurant is a bit cramped, and the waitresses - whilst not rude - come across as very indifferent. The place prides itself on its steaks. We opted for the sirloin and fillet which were thick-cut and nicely cooked, but ultimately lacked any real...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
