This restaurant was highly recommended on Tripadvisor and with good reason. The food and service were excellent, and it reminded me of little restaurants in Paris. It's small and doesn't hold many tables, so make a reservation.

I have eaten here several times and been delighted on every occasion. It's what it is a set menu for a set price and at £13.95 it's hardly OTT, many restaurants charge that for main course. Indeed the pub across from the restaurant (good pub)...More

My friends and I had been wanting to go to The Little French Restaurant for a long time, and were so disappointed with the experience we had there. While being abused by another customer in the restaurant is one thing (which I appreciate the restaurant...More

We ate at the little French restaurant on Friday evening. The food was not good, however that wasn't even the worst part. The staff were shocking, ignorant and totally arrogant. We witnessed another patron who was clearly a regular verbally abuse another table of patrons...More

Sweet little place and promissing but when everything start is just a down hill. Dated and confusion menus. Food is a way low average and expensive when you realise that everything is added. Service is not good enough but can't fault waiters if no one...More

Set menu promises more than is delivered. possibly the worst Coq au vin ever with over cooked chicken legs and wilted salad, poor quality, supermarket ice ice cream followed. Disappointing.

As the contemporary saying goes: I don't do reviews. But I'm doing one now, to counter the recent negative posts regarding this restaurant. Luckily I chose to ignore them and last night had dinner there with a former university professor of mine, who has also...More

In a word, terrible. The poor waiter tried hard but he didn't know his product (we bought a salad to accompany the Coq au Vin having been told 'it comes with nothing'. Except it did. A small portion of salad. The wine was named by...More

I only review places that are exceptionally good or bad. Unfortunately The Little French Restaurant falls in the "bad" category. The food was indifferently prepared and frankly would not that great tasting at any temperature. The French onion soup (with cheddar cheese) came lukewarm. The...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
