I've been to this Pizza Express a couple of times, it is ideally located near Museum of London. Unfortunately whether it is the position across the road it always seems to be cold in there, others have given the same feedback. The service (as almost always is the case in Pizza Express) goes from far too efficient to far too... More

Noisy, understaffed, slow. Waiters rushed off their feet. Probably the worst pizza express I've visited. Not recommended.

Came here for a late lunch with my wife, great service, clean, great food, food was hot (temperature) and tasty. Music not to loud so we could converse. One of the best pizza expresses I have been to.

Be warned this place on a cold day like today (5 degrees) is unable to keep their customers warm. The heaters were not that great and even the staff were cold. It would also appear that the restaurant operates a skeleton staff crew on the weekends.

Well, let's face it - you can't really go wrong with a Pizza Express for lunch! I have to say, though, that this particular Pizza Express stood out for me. Not only was there a fantastic view from the balcony which straddled the London Wall area, but also the staff were just about the best that I've encountered. Friendly, helpful... More

The food here is standard Pizza Express fayre - tasty pizzas, a small selection of pastas and oven cooked dishes, with salads and sides. The food is of a nice (if not spectacular) standard. The restaurant is great for business lunches - it's efficient, clean, bright and does the job. Given the restaurant is surrounded by offices, they clearly know... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
