Had a lovely Greek lunch. Service was great food came very quickly. I had lovely lamb Greek flatbread and chips all cooked well. Would definitely come here for lunch again. The lunch price was £8.95pp to pick three items from the lunch menu.

Very nice Greek food that arrived at the table on a cake stand style presentation which actually worked. The service could have been better - it was a little shy shall we say! However, lovely mint tea and tasty dips and flatbreads and mains.

We went there on a Sunday evening, was not very crowded. I guess pre-booking is not necessary. The ambiance was nice as it is located at the riverside. First time I tried greek food in a restaurant and I liked it. My friend is a vegetarian and she also got to choose from a variety of food. Following tapas style... More

We'd been looking forward to visiting here for ages. Booked ahead which was prudent as it was a very busy lunch service. Given a nice comfy booth, so started well. The lunch menu gave us a straightforward choice at a reasonable price. We all agreed the food was tasty, although having visited Greece frequently, it wasn't authentic fayre. Desserts were... More

This place is awful! I have no idea how they can call themselves the real greek as there is nothing authentic about this place. Food was tasteless service was terrible. Horrible chain restaurant and an insult to greece!

What a fabulous experience ... booked off the web search, so never quite sure, but it turned out to exceed all expectations. Fabulous food and brilliant ambiance. It exceeded all my expectations and I'll definitely be returning

Well dear readers some people will whoop with delight when they read "child friendly" and indeed this restaurant is. Really liked the menu - hot and cold mezze, good choice and good quality food. Service good and food excellent, and the small plates lend themselves well for ordering for children, so there were several families here on my visit (around... More

I booked a table for 15 friends to celebrate my birthday and had one of the best nights ever! The restaurant itself sits right by the river where you can see the Shard, city lights etc. Inside the set up is lovely - atmospheric but not cramped. Our table was perfect and staff were very attentive. We ordered one of... More

The Good - the ambience: There's a lot of laughter in the restaurant. Strangers smile at you (you are in London remember) - you feel at home. People here hug each other. You almost feel infected by the warmth the atmosphere exudes. the waiters are so friendly and all smiles - ask for help and you will receive them! the... More

The best food and service!! I have to say is best Greek chain restaurant in London. Food is freshly made, bread and dips to strat with are excellent. Grill dishes I highly recommend are lamb meatballs, octopus, cutlets. There is life music too and if you lucky, staff will dance and show you Zorba dance... Definitely a place worth trying.... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
