Ate here last night on a very warm evening. The bifold doors were open allowing some alfresco tables. The restaurant was busy, the service was friendly, the food excellent as was the Greek wine (even the house) and a very reasonable bill at the end. We started with flatbreads and dips, large portion and we probably could have survived on... More

Visited the real Greek after work for a quick catch up with friends. The food was amazing as always as I've been in most of the real Greek restaurants. My favourite and the most recommended is the salt cod and the Aegean slaw. The best thing about this restaurant is the variety of vegetarian options you have which is rarely... More

Great place for snaking or for people that want a quick meal, their meze is great and quite full filling, a bit more variety is needed in the menu plus flexibility if you want something out of your chosen plate

The food was very tasty and great value with lots of sharing plates. The atmosphere is lively and fun, if a little loud. Thoroughly recommended

This was our first experience at a The Real Greek restaurant and it will definitely not be our last. We had the £8.95 lunch menu which offered excellent value - I couldn't believe the 3 of us had a sit down, non-fast food, quality meal in a London restaurant with soft drinks for under £34. Service was attentive and professional... More

We were looking for a place to eat close to the hotel and came across this place. We looked at the menu and passed. We came back the next night and saw Bar-B Que wings. Now being from Texas, no one makes it like Texas. I was pleasantly surprised, the sauce was quite tasty. I am not a big Greek... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
