Bruno, the manager went the extra mile to tell me that he would be able to order the cake (which I was too quick to decline since I thought orders would take a day to make) but Bruno... More

I arranged to meet with my niece at PV as it was a place I regularly visited in the late 1990s and early 2000s when I lived in London. It still has the presence of a chic cafe but the food was below average. I have never had cold Hollandaise sauce served with eggs Benedict before and the coffee was... More

Went on a weekend evening. Plenty of places to seat. One guy was eating breakfast beside us. We were given a menu with a wide variety of pastries and cakes, but turns out half of it was not available. When I finally asked the waitress what was available, she told me to go out of the store to check the... More

Went with some friends who were from Derbyshire. We went in prior to going to the theatre. It wasn't busy for a Saturday but the place was somewhat disorganised. We waited to be seated as there were not 4 together but eventually a customer offered to move for us. However the scone and earl grey tea was lovely, but we... More

Great little stop for a sweet. Eat in or take away. Save room after a meal for these little gems. Nice locale

Ordered black forest gateau. The barest hint of cherries in it. Cream not great either. Coffee and service were fine. Won't be back.

Very cosy and friendly. We arrived in the early evening and were there quite a long time; the staff were very friendly and did not mind. The pastries were to die for and I had the best pecan tart ever!

Thanks to Bruno and his team for accommodating our loud bunch of hen party ladies, lovely place. No hassle about how long we stayed at the table.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
