I met my wife from work and we popped into the Pizza Express for a quick bite to eat before heading out. The bruschetta and olives to start were great and the pizza I had was one of the best I've ever had. The food was delicious and served timely with a smile, couldn't fault the experience.

Good food at a fair price, kids friendly: three course meal for less than £7. Gluten free and low calorie pizza. Can't fault anything at all. Well worth a visit.

Good food. Piping hot. Good slick service despite it being really busy. Would definitely use again. Good value for money too.

Always welcoming with efficient staff and an interesting menu reflecting seasonal changes. Refreshing outside tables for summer or cosy interiors, this branch always delivers atmosphere and good value.

Just don't bother, the food was horrible. Friendly servers, but way off in terms of flavor. I cannot recommend, there was no saving grace to this completely flavorless, bland meal.

Had a look in cause one in our group wanted to try out the chain. Standard pizza - not too bad, decent service.

I like this restaurant. Sure it is a pizza express like any other. Having said that the food is good quality. Especially the dough balls fromagi. Good service which was quick. Will go again.

Went in for lunch to kill time before a meeting. Wasn't the best food I have ever had at a pizza express and the service was functional to the point of hurrying me out, which as the restaurant was only 50% full seemed a bit much! Plenty of places around so won't find me venturing back across this door.

My review title says it all. I'm an American from NY City, so to be quite honest, my opinion (and the same opinion is held by 8 million plus other that live in NY) is that pizza outside of NY City, parts of New Jersey and Chicago isn't really that great. Nevertheless, I do find myself liking this place, and... More

Popped in for lunch as a colleague had a 25% off food voucher, so the three of us ate - I had a special, Risotto Fresca, which was tasty and attractive, J had a Romana (thin crust) American Hot, and G had a Classic La Reine. I like Pizza Express because they do a gluten free pizza option, so if... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
