Open surprising - to me - hours over the weekend for a pub in an area which seems to go pretty quiet at night after post-work drinks, this became the local of choice during a weekend staying in the YHA just around the corner, with...More

Brilliant Pub and Landlord. Old school boozer, stepping back in time with untouched interior, really felt at home!

This is a cosy and atmospheric little pub, tucked away amongst the back streets near St Paul's. There is a good selection of beers and the staff were very friendly. We had lunch which was enjoyable and whilst my pulled pork burger was more like...More

Very traditional with both a staff and a clientele that are very friendly. Don't expect food service - there are other places for that - just a small gem of a place to toss back a pint.

Pub that has regular drinkers, provides selection of real ales including Timothy Taylor Landlord and several others. Not a revamped, disembowled and tarted up plaything for the young things that shriek and bray in so many other establishments in central L.ondon. It's an odd shaped...More
