My partner and I are frequent visitors here, dining in and having their takeaway service too. As a takeaway goes its more expensive than average but worth the extra. On our last visit we had the crispy duck as a starter with the steak in capital sauce (a must if you eat here) egg fried rice which is always excellent,... More

Been to all Chinese restaurants in Wimbledon and this consistently remains the best as it is fresh and flavourful. Servicewise has to be an improvement area , but the quality of the food more than makes up for any minor lapses. Cannot wait to return! Soft Shell crab and confuscious fishes fillets are my favourites!

A Terrible restaurant. Tiny portions of food. Very expensive, no atmosphere, poor service. The whole place feels desperate and stuck in a rut. The rice was £5 for 4 tablespoons of cooked, cold, congealed rice, appalling. The portions are laughable, I genuinely thought it was all a joke. It cost £66 for 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 rice and 3... Picked up a takeaway from here as a treat and it having been recommended by a friend, but wish we hadn't bothered. Looked good and prices were okay, but everything we had was severely lacking in flavour which meant we went through a bottle of soya sauce just to give it some taste. Won't be back in a hurry.

We have celebrated Chinese New Year here each year, and regularly go for our Chinese dinner fix during the year. The food is great, the service excellent and the choice of deserts better than any other Chinese restaurant as they mix cuisines.

Good food but over priced for the area. Beautiful decor throughout and charming waitresses, great place to take friends and family but very pricey.

I have been there on several occasions, always with group of students. We used to have the same number of dishes as number of people and complete - FULL dinner is around £25 - 30. It might seem a bit but it is worthy every penny spent !!! I especially love West Lake Soup ...

I have walked past this restaurant for many years and always wondered what it would be like as an old established restaurant in Wimbledon so finally tried it. I have to say it was disappointing from the word go and wish I had left. The manager spent most of the evening telling her staff they were stupid right next to... More

9 of us turned up to Confucius today hoping to get our dim sum fix. Unfortunately, they weren't serving dim sum. I didn't ask but this might be permanent? Anyway, with 9 of us, it wasn't an option to go somewhere else. Fortunately, we weren't disappointed. We ordered off the Chinese menu and had: Lobster noodles - tasty although a... More

This is the Chinese restaurant of choice for many local Chinese/Cantonese, and their food is good and well-priced if you follow one rule: Order Chinese style, i.e. from the inner pages of the menu which have English and Chinese. These dishes are meant to be shared and come in much larger portions, too. Cantonese food is very good, Sichuan and... More
