I came here on a Saturday with some family, two members shared the Kolossi Meze but they put a few extra items on so I could join in and nibble too! It was delicious and they kept refilling the bread. For starters I had halloumi, main was moussaka and lastly baklava, all were delicious! The customer service was very friendly... More

I could not believe I saw rat dropping on the floor. Disgusting! I ignored hoping the food will be tasty. 30 mins after ordering the food, we reminded the waitress that we were waiting. The restaurant was empty; I didn't find any excuse for delaying. Average food. Seasonal food option was hilarious - 3 slices of a banana and three... More

Dear JinnatUlHasan Thank you for taking the time to review our establishment, however, I have got to say your review did surprise me as why anyone would remain in a restaurant after seeing rat droppings on the floor is completely laughable, ridiculous beyond belief and frankly stupid. When you consider the amount of extremely positive reviews we do have this... More

Sooo happy I came across this lovely restaurant. I'm visiting London for just about 4 days and am staying in Islington. Decided to forgo eating in the touristy areas of Central London in hopes of discovering a good restaurant on the bus ride back to Islington. Hopped off the city bus once I saw the charming atmosphere of Kolossi Grill... More

Eaten in this restaurant many times over perhaps 30 years (even when it was called something else as part of the Sofia Hotel). Brilliant little unpretentious Greek grill. It has recently been redecorated and the menu simplified for the masses, but still good value and great authentic food. Don't expect Greek complex home cooking - very traditional grill dishes -... This small (and therefore often crowded) restaurant offers a decent taste of Cyprus in the heart of Clerkenwell! Although you don't quite get the full Mediterranean experience the food is not bad at all. You do tend to be a bit rammed in and it's definitely a good idea to book but the crowd gives the placve an atmosphere that... More

We had tickets for Sadlers Wells and wanted to eat nearby. This place was perfect, just five minutes walk away. Better, was that it was truly authentic - great food, Cypriot beer and amazing value for money. we will go again

We made it a good evening food was okay not very strong Greek Flavours could have been a bit more authentic. The lamb shank wasn't good at all was very plain tasting and boring nothing on it just the meat with a tiny portion of chips. No sauce. Staff were friendly and nice but not too impressed with the food.... More

As Greek food goes it's not the best and it's not the worst either. It's small and can get crowded - diners are squeezed into tight spaces so it's probably not suitable for someone with limited mobility. The service was OK - although there did seem to be an argument going on between a couple of the staff with raised... More

Good small authentic slice of Greece ideal for a pre theatre meal. Excellent herby tastes in everything we had reminding us of similarvmeals in a much warmer climate. Well staffed so service good. House wine not the best choice.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
