Had a lovely steak and ale pie and other had steak. Both fine. Service quick and friendly. Can be a bit noisy in the bar area as the night progresses but it’s well set out and fine if your after some good pub grub.

Good drinks, mulled wine and some excellent ale choices. Unfortunately the smell from the bog was so overpowering we moved tables!!! Even then we could still smell it!! 3 stars would of been five if it hadn't been for that smell.

We had a nice lunch here, the fish and chips is really to recommend, as well as the fish pie. Prices are not cheap but fair for the place next to the river. We recommend!

You can sit anywhere you like. In the dining room we offer full table service, but if you sit on the ground floor main bar, you order all food & drink up at the counter
