I believe that when you are dining in a restaurant you should be treated with respect, Tai Won Noodle House does not understand this concept... We decided to pop in today for a quick lunch and I will never ever visit Tai Won Noodle House again! (if you are reading this Tai Won I would take note). First off the... More

I had wonton soup with ho fun noodles. Bang average tasteless food, not enough vegetables in the soup, flat lemonade and the worst customer service I've experienced in London. Taking my order seemed like a chore for the eye-contact averse staff, food was deposited on my table without a single word being spoken and when it came to paying, there... More

I have been to this place many times as it is close to home and the food is Ok/average yet the restaurant is well located, frankly its only saving grace. The staff are almost comical in their take on rudeness. Eye contact is out, barking is in. I will not return. I doubt this will bother the staff as they... More

Clean and very quick service, but the food is not up to the reputation that Thai food has earned. Reasonably cheerful staff.

We often visit this restaurant and have always had good standard of food, unfortunately on this occasion we were not happy when I made a complaint we had a very standoffish and very unhelpful attitude. As customers we expect to be treated in a civil manner. After a further complaint to The Manager she did resolve the matter. The team... More

Cheap and greasy. So if you like that this is heaven for you. I don't particularly enjoy greasy food so not my thing. Portions are very big and service is quick. If you are starving and on a budget this will fill you up but maybe not for actual dinner.

I visited here last night with my friend for a meal before going for drinks nearby. We were seated quickly and menus were already on the table. I ordered the deep fried chicken wings and king prawn chow mein with a Chinese beer. The beer comes from a can and and at £3.50 it's massively over priced. Food came quite... More

Basically is you wander into a Chinese supermarket, go to the frozen section and pick up some frozen fish balls or similar and put those in some stock Asian flavour soup then you have most food here. If you've ever had frozen 'crab sticks' you'll find those plunged in hot water here and called noodle soup. This itself isn't a... More

This has got to be the most unfriendliest and unhygienic restaurant ever. I went here with my friend and we both ordered a curry each. I was mortified to find two long black hairs in my plate of food. My friend searched through he's meal to also find a hair in his food. We called one of the waiters over... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
