Cheap and greasy. So if you like that this is heaven for you. I don't particularly enjoy greasy food so not my thing. Portions are very big and service is quick. If you are starving and on a budget this will fill you up but maybe not for actual dinner.

I visited here last night with my friend for a meal before going for drinks nearby. We were seated quickly and menus were already on the table. I ordered the deep fried chicken wings and king prawn chow mein with a Chinese beer. The beer comes from a can and and at £3.50 it's massively over priced. Food came quite... More

Basically is you wander into a Chinese supermarket, go to the frozen section and pick up some frozen fish balls or similar and put those in some stock Asian flavour soup then you have most food here. If you've ever had frozen 'crab sticks' you'll find those plunged in hot water here and called noodle soup. This itself isn't a... More

This has got to be the most unfriendliest and unhygienic restaurant ever. I went here with my friend and we both ordered a curry each. I was mortified to find two long black hairs in my plate of food. My friend searched through he's meal to also find a hair in his food. We called one of the waiters over... More

Massive portions, really cheap. Chinese average quality food but always fresh. Been there many times with friends. It's a popular place to eat something cheap. Will always recommend but don't expect too much.

Amazing value for money. As a student at that time it was my daily destination with my uni mates. And the service was so quick. Dont expect to be pampered. It s just fast and efficient service at its best and tasty food

After coming from the disastrous visit at noodle time we still had empty stomachs to fill, went into pizza express but their menu was limited so looked for another eatery place and came across tai won mein noodles house, on entry was greeted and shown to our table, staff came over to serve us, food came to us quickly, food... Stopped by for a late lunch with my kids. From the outside it looks good, long tables with benches to sit on, chopsticks and napkins on the tables. Service is simple; there is a choice of various noodle dishes, including soups and vegetarian options. There is a great similarity in some of the dishes, but noodles are the shared theme!... More

Went there with two young people for a spot of lunch whilst touring around London sites. Located very near Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London. We was greeted by staff and seated on a bench and long table quite quickly. The place wasn't very busy at the time, it may be because it is Friday and not too many tourists around.... More

Visited here after a 19 year hiatus and it was EXACTLY the same including the grumpy waiters. Nonetheless, the food was great for the price. The servings are HUGE so consider sharing. There are no half sizes for kids so get them to share as I did.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
