We went last week for lunch. The quality of salad is bad:,the leaves were all saggy and as far as smoked salmon, very poor quality. We ordered a galette des rois to take away. Extremely expensive and we were told they had 2 feves in it and there were none. I will never go back.

I always go here when I am by myself in London. Its just behind Kings Road, before you met up with John Lewis on a little side street. It's quick service and on average good food as well. Today I had the chicken salad with added avocado. The hot toasted bread fell on the floor and I got cold ones... More

We love this place! Dog friendly, great for breakfast and brunch and super-friendly. An amazing French bakery/patisserie just at the side of Peter Jones - you'll want to eat everything! Very relaxed atmosphere & small menu of pastries, salads & tartines - all are delicious! Highly recommended.

I have been here many times and I am always struck at how much the staff appear to be happy and at ease with the customers. The food is very reasonably priced and based on their excellent bread and other products such as jam etc. if you go before 12 noon you can have the. Reakfast menu which includes the... More

Our hotel is just around the corner from Poilane in Cadogan Gardens. We like to go there for breakfast as the bread is so great. It is also nice for snacks and bites. At times it can be quite busy and service a bit slow. But they are all very nice there and try hard in hectic times. And don't... More

In Chelsea, there are two Poilane places that are near one another: one is a superb branch of the well-known Paris bakers on Elizabeth Street, and the other is a rather forgettable restaurant on Cadogan Gardens, across from Peter Jones department store. The bakery shop is a jewel with a wood-fired oven in the cellar (by appointment only, but I've... More

The bread may be good but we found the food in the restaurant to be acceptable but uninspiring. In addition, the seating is awkward with shared tables, bar like seats etc. There are better options on Kings Road and Duke of york square.

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
