We live in the area and occasionally eat here. Can get very busy but we never have a problem when it opens at 1830. Staff are invariably pleasant even if the arrival of food can be a tad slow, that perhaps reflects a small kitchen and maybe a problem when it gets busy. always clean and tidy as are the... More

Having lived in northern China for a little while, it has been difficult to find some of the dishes I enjoyed out there due to the majority of Chinese restaurants in this country focused on the southern regions and Peking Duck. What was nice about the Taiwan Village was that they had a couple of these dishes that I had... More

Not for the first time this Taiwanese restaurant has lived up to my expectations. Two starters, two mains and two Taiwanese beers each, and all of it really tasty and affordable at £40. We had pan fried meat dumplings and soft crab, beef with carrots and chilli, and aubergine and minced chicken; both with rice. All of the dishes tasted... More

Restaurants are about food and this one apparently misses any quality. Beef with jelly pieces in it , sweet and sour chicken was the sourest experience possible. Only taste in the dish really. One star for the pasta. Too bad there is only few real ratings here.

Four of us ate here recently. The food was excellent; reasonable-sized portions and very tasty. The service was acceptable and we had to ask to be seated away from the front door as there was a draught, but given the quality of the food - and the price - it's worth 5 stars.

Good service but OK food. Very disappointed with the spring rolls served with mayonnaise... The dumpling was all right and the noodle too salty.

After a long day at work, my fiancée and I decided to go to for Chinese food. Based on TripAdvisor and other reviews we stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a go. Never have we seen such discrepancy between raving reviews and experienced reality. In short: food is basic, but very good to excellent, that much is... More

Very good food, homely atmosphere, clean ambience and very helpful and kind staff. After having had various disappointing Chinese experiences in London, some very expensive and highly rated, we finally came across Taiwan Village. Great soups, crispy duck, soft shell crab and taiwanese rice. A place we will return as often as possible. Thanks Chris

We go here every month or so, plus when family visit as they always insist on a meal at Taiwan Village during their stay. The food is really great, much better than the average chinese restaurant. The 'Leave it to us feast' is a winner - perfect if you're feeling hungry and adventurous. I love not having to order from... More

Taiwan Village serves slightly spicy Chinese food and it's always exceptional. From duck pancakes to crispy beef and ribs etc. it's a lovely menu that is always cooked to perfection. The restaurant also looks lovely but I'm yet to eat there.

Taiwan Village Restaurant is a an established restaurant based in Fulham, London. Our Head Chef, Mr Huang, came from Taiwan where he was trained in a wide variety of Chinese cuisines, but he specialises in the regional cuisines of Taiwan, Hunan and Szechuan. He has worked in a variety of restaurants in the centre of London since the mid-1980's, and understands the level of quality and preferences that customers expect from a fine Chinese restaurant.
