We went on a Wednesday evening and it was packed - we were lucky we'd booked. We were sat elbow to elbow with other diners at a long table - so don't visit if your conversation is private! We could barely hear the pianist though moments filtered through. At one point I heard him effortlessly drift between Beethoven's 'Für Elise',... More

Good food at a reasonable price served in an authentic manner. Waiters first rate . Food good . Price about average.

Realised that despite several visits I had never reviewed CB. Don't going expecting cutting edge regional cuisine but enjoyed solid Italian favourites including a generous Bresaola, perfectly cooked Vitello Milanese and even Cassata. Had booked for an odd time 6.15 on a Sunday and didn't expect it to be heaving. We can't all be wrong!!.

This restaurant was recommended on the map provided at our hostel, so we decided to check it out. To the point: Yummy pizza, sloooow service.

Possibly the best pizza I ever had here. Forgot the rip off chains. The pizza I had had loads of toppings and great value for money (cheaper than the chains). It was really busy when we went, although we had pre-booked and service was very prompt. But those who came without booking were swiftly welcomed and shown a table.

As desperate tourists desperately looking for food desperately, we stumbled into this place and were pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere - despite being shockingly busy - fast service and awesome food.

Lovely 'neighbourhood' Italian restaurant which consistently delivers every time I go. I can't eat Pasta, but there are a range of other options which are all great. The Sea Bass is excellent and I can honestly say that the steak is one of the best I've had in London. It's charred on outside but rare (when you want it to... More

Sometimes you just need a restaurant in your life that makes you feel good. It may not have the best food ever, your favourite wine or specials - but what it will have is the ability to cheer you up whenever you go, or even make you smile as you look in on your way past. Its so, so busy... More

This place is like coming home. Have made my way through most of the menu and have never been disappointed. My friends and I came here when we lost a dear friend, to celebrate birthdays, to share our days, go on dates, meet new friends and just make wonderful memories. The pianist adds a lovely touch. The place is always... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
