We had our office Xmas lunch here, having had an excellent lunch at Gymkhana earlier in the year. Group of 10 of us. Personally - I far preferred Gymkhana. Trishna was not bad, but it was not exceptional; not good enough at the price. Some of the food was very nice, but it did not wow me. We had the... More

We were at Trishna last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. For drinks I had a small bottle of Cobra beer and my wife was recommended the Juhu Koliwada cocktail. We then had the 5 course tasting menu (without recommended wine pairings) and ordered each option on the menu except the sea food biriyani for mains. Although the menu said... More

Visited Trishna for dinner choosing the 5 course menu. The foos was superb particularly the lamb chops, the best I've ever tasted! Food definitely will not disappoint at a good price for what you get. The only improvement would be the service which was rather slow with delays in taking orders and lengthy waits between courses. Would definitely visit again.

Our waiter was brilliant. Top class restaurant and food with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. We will definitely be paying another visit. Definitely the best michelin... More

Contemporary Indian food with very helpful and polite staff. The potato masala was absolutely delicious, but all dishes were tasty. Would certainly visit again.

Very good portion sizes and excellent attentive services. Great wine selections as well. We were a group of five with different dietary restrictions and tastes and the menu could cater to all. Good choices for vegetarians and sea food.

We visited Trishna on a chilly evening to celebrate our cotton wedding anniversary. Booking process was fairly simple. When we reached the restaurant we were greeted by a lovely lady who escorted us to our table which was set wonderfully. The ambience was simple yet good enough to kindle the fire of romance! I personally loved their corner table which... More

Dined here on Sunday with my family to celebrate a birthday. I've eaten here about ten times now and it is my favourite Indian restaurant in London. Service is great, food is delicious and the waiters are always so nice to my 95 year old grandmother! They do a fantastic lunch deal and every dish was delicious- especially the seafood... More

Having been to Gymkhana we had high expectations of Trishna & weren't disappointed. The interior is less luxe than it's stable mate so feels more informal, although the vibe is equally busy. Staff are super helpful & assisted with advice on the extensive menu. The set menus are tempting but we went with a la carte. Portions were huge -... More

Initial disappointment as the Game menu that was listed on the website had been discontinued earlier in the month. Had the five course menu and the highlights were the guinea fowl kebab and the apple and blackberry falooda

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
