The food quality at this restaurant was not good. Of the 4 dishes ordered, 3 were left almost completely uneaten as it just tasted "odd". One of the dishes was just burnt. Ended up just eating the lamb biryani- which lucky that managed not to ruin. Just don't go here.

This restaurant is near the tube on the way back to our hotel so the convenience attracted us in the first place. Staff seem fed up and no atmosphere in the restaurant which is quite small. Meal was okay but nothing special.

Considering the location so close to Oxford Street and the BBC this restaurant is a good bargain option. The curries are nothing special but perfectly acceptable. Friendly service.

I have been to Shikara back when it was still near Kings Road, Sloane Square many times and ordered take away many times. Their tandoori paneer is amazing, as well as their seekh kebabs. The branch in Great Titchfield Street is also great although the decor/interior could do with an upgrade. It doesn't really stand out from the crowd because... More

A small restaurant, the service is very good. The meals are tastefully prepared. We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 nights later. I had the lamb vindaloo the first evening and the 5 chili rated Bangalore Phall the second night. I like hot food so enjoyed this dish, but it is extremely hot. My wife had the Chicken... More

We always think the best Indian meals we eat are in London. Shikara lived up to that expectation. The food was delicious and the service excellent. This restaurant is in the S. Kensington part of London. I highly recommend it.

Quiet but excellent food and great value for central London. Tucked away on the back streets just 10 min walk from Oxford Circus, we found this on Tripadvisor when looking for a unplanned curry after a long day in London. Excellent and well worth a visit!
