We are here tonight and frankly I was not happy We shared a platter starter which was fine but my King Prawn Tika Masala was lots of cream and 3 prawns only ! Service was poor and we were the only people there The waiter was more interested talking to his friend than looking after us

Have eaten here before. Selection of food is excellent. I had the Mali Haash which is a duck dish. Sweet but hot. Very tasty. Onion bhajis are a little different from the usual. Tried the Keema Nan for the first time. All in all a very enjoyable lunch.

I ate here in a large group for a work event. The starters were nice (if a bit small for the number of us), but the Tikka Masala lacked any real flavour at all. The biggest thing I cannot really forgive is that my friend is vegan and informed them of this in advance. However they clearly didn't understand what... More

The last few times I've met up with my Dad in London we have gone to Anokha. The food is fantastic, the waiting staff are great (and were very good at topping up my G&T). Thoroughly recommend and look forward to coming back soon!

I ate here with a client at lunchtime. It wasnt particularly busy but the service was slow and the food very underwhelming. My mixed grill was insipid and my guests minced chicken was very bland. Any other establishment within the square mile would be better. When we complained we were offered another dish, but with it being lunch there was... More

Happen to notice this place close to St. Paul's. Good food, loved the yellow daal. I would really recommend this place to those who crave Indian food when abroad. Met the owner, happened to be from Mumbai :). The decor is beautiful, in all a very good experience.

Came here yesterday evening with friends, they had no lassi which is a classic indian drink to have with meals. The food was bland - aloo tikki was more like boiled potatoes mashed and made into a patty. Our mains tasted sweet rather than spicy. Overall was very disappointed with our experience here. We have been to better restaurants where... More

I went to this restaurant in December 2015 with my colleagues as a last meal together for 2015. Food in there was delicious, service was brilliant, the staff did everything they can to make your visit worth while. I would definitely go back for another meal

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
