Went to Shepherd’s for a quick business lunch and was very impressed! I’m not a big lamb fan but those that are should definitely order the Pie or rack of lamb. The food was exquisite and Tania our server was the absolute best! Courteous, friendly...More

The service and Food are excellent. If you want a High Class Restaurant with quality food with quiet luxury surroundings then Shepherd' is the place to go in the Westminster area. Ideal for 1 to 6 people for a Friends or Business Lunch or Dinner

Booked a table as it was close to the Tate Britain (2 min walk). Very friendly efficient staff. Good food but could do with a larger vegetarian menu although the veggie food was good.

I ate here as part of a large group of around 20 people, in the private dining room (with drinks in the main bar area first). Nice to have a cloakroom on arrival. The lighting is beautiful and the music subtle. No bitter or pints...More

Shepherd's was opened some 25 years ago by chef Richard Shepherd with the aid of MIchael Caine and restaurateur Peter Langan. It is very comfortable with a wealth of soft furnishings that give the room an air of luxury. It's pleasingly old-fashioned and mercifully has...More

Made to feel welcome and comfortable from the cloakroom reception to generous, delicious wine and sumptuous private dining. Good fish starter pork dish and fruit pudding (although a little too much pastry in the desert). Great evening overall.

I had the good fortune of having dined in Langan's and Cane's establishments in the past, so I was attracted by this restaurant, a kind of "re-born" specimen of that era. I was not disappointed: Shepherd's is a comfortable, traditional, quintessentially British Restaurant with professional...More

Equipped with a Division Bell and located somewhat off the beaten track, the restaurant must rely upon a group of regulars. To do that it has to be reasonably priced and serve good food. We found that to be the case and thoroughly enjoyed a...More

We had a business dinner for 12 people at Shepherd's and I was frankly, embarrassed by the poor standard of the food. The Dover Sole was the real culprit and came to to table full of broken bones. Obviously a problem with the filleting...but not...More

Menu was ok - not extensive but good range. Probably a little but expensive for portion size. But well cooked and good taste. Good range of wines. Would probably visit again if in area and was entertaining. Probably best to check menu in advance as...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
