I have to say that the ice cream was a tad expensive however you do get a lot for what you pay for and they don't skimp out when loading the cones with ice cream. Delicious favours and I highly recommend if you need a little sweet treat for yourself.

We decided to stop in here because we continued to pass by and always said tomorrow, I am only upset that we waited so long. The shop itself was pleasant in itself but the gelato and staff made the visit that much better. The variety of flavors was perfect and the quality was easy enough for me to give it... More

Stopped in here as we were walking back to our B and B. Serving sizes were very good. We actually split a large cup of gelato. Good selection of flavors. Also had some coffee drinks available. Visited on two different occasions. Will return when in the area.

The gelato was quite tasty until I found a piece of what looked like black foam inside, presumably coming from a foamy placemat or a sponge cloth. Not so tasty afterwards. Won't be going back.

I believe it's used to be one of the best gelato place in one of the most beautiful street in London. However I recently visited with my family and I actually turned out from the store. Everything was dirty! The windows, the floor, the fridge, the canopy. The floorboard was even coming off. Huge disappointment especially considering the price and... More

One of few ice cream shops in london that sell real Gelato, flavours are well balanced, prices are decent and this particular one is right on Holland Road making it the perfect spot to relax in the summer under the canopy providing by the beautiful trees. Location: Easily accessible by tube, turn right when you come out of Holland Park... More

£3.10 for a gelato is crazy!! It was nice but nothing super. It is more convenient to buy a waffle or a crêpe in my opinion.

The place was completely packed on a hot sunny weekend. There's no obvious direction to queue from so it's a bit confusing as people squeezed along the fridge. Good ice cream in general and they were extremely fresh! Though the staff could have put on a bigger smile given that this is an ice-cream place but I feel like they're... More

I first encountered Gelato Mio's product at a local Italian produce market. After trying out the delicious hazenut gelato, I quested for more and found several locations throughout London. The Holland Park Avenue location is certainly my favorite, and the park few steps away provides a picturesque setting for the enjoyment of the gelato. Gelato Mio is on par with... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
