It is so cool to be able to tour old ships, and the Belfast is no exception. There are many levels to visit, and the audio tour was very helpful.

A throwback into history and into the lives of those who were onboard. Interesting and informative. I would recommend even to anyone who is not all that much into history or warships. Money well spent.

Once again we allowed ourselves a couple of hours and it wasn't nearly long enough. Following the self guided tour with handheld audio weaving our way around the lower decks which was extremely interesting. It held the kids attention (Age 12 and 9) for a couple of hours then they started to lose the will to live an we ended... More

So much fun. I wasn't that excited to go, but I'm glad I did! Spent the whole day there as there is so much to see.

I walk past HMS Belfast everyday and have never been on board. I decided today to buy a ticket. I'm not really into war and battleships but I still found this very interesting.

It is very exciting getting to explore every inch of a huge ship like this. Especially when it has such a history. There are many steps and ladders so check the website if you have problems with mobility. On arrival you have a short introduction and then you can explore at your own pace. There is plenty to read, so... More

Didnt know much what to expect from visiting the ship. Once inside, its a great warship museum to visit. Need about 2hours to complete.

Hired for a joint family birthday (18th, 21st, 50th) of 3 of my girls. Guests from a very broad spectrum everywhere from central London to our former neighbours from a village in the deep countryside of Northern Netherlands, and everyone from young to more mature young, from a good dozen countries. Everyone loved it, and I as a native South... More

Went on this with a work do. Simply amazing to see such a massive piece of floating metal that did so much during the war and walking around the museum part of it with the rooms as they were is quite awe inspiring. Read up on the history before you go and you will appreciate it so much more!

Teens ( and dad) loved the HMS Belfast. Lots of hands on and exploring. Great change of pace. Adjacent outdoor bar/ cafe ( I waited chatting up locals re brexit). Part of the Lindon Pass. Worth the stop. Part of the imperial war museum.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
